Powertech / Solar Conect Underfloor Heating System
The Solar Conect/Powertech underfloor heating system uses Ply-pipe multi-layered pipe (which is ideal for this purpose) and the Powertech manifold manufactured by Taconova. A thermostatic mixing valve is added to the system to regulate the underfloor temperature for optimum efficiency.

Technical information
- The modular stainless steel manifolds come in sizes from 2 to 12 zones. They are simple to connect with no leakage problems. Connections available for plastic, Pex and copper pipes.
- Each manifold system comes with an air vent, ½ ” filling and drain valve, wall bracket and ¾ ” nickel-plated ball valve. All valves can be manually adjusted for flow regulation or automatically controlled by an electronic actuator via a room stat.
- The thermostatic mixing valve has a temperature range from 30°C to 70°C and comes in ¾ ” or 1” BS female thread. The valve allows the return water to mix with hot water flowing into the valve to regulate the temperature for optimum efficiency.
